Symbol Technologies Receives North American Microsoft Partner of The Year Award

Symbol Technologies, The Enterprise Mobility Company, has announced that it was selected by Microsoft Corp. as the recipient of the Windows Embedded North American Partner of the Year award in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) category. At the Microsoft Windows Mobile & Embedded Developer Conference in Las Vegas, Symbol was honored as the Microsoft partner that has best demonstrated technology leadership and commitment to providing industry-leading products to help Windows Embedded developers quickly and efficiently deliver and market smart products.

Windows Embedded partners play a pivotal role in creating opportunities and innovations for mutual customers in the Microsoft partner community. As a Partner of the Year winner, Symbol is recognized for its proven record of success in bringing a wide range of innovative WindowsÒ Mobile Enterprise Digital Assistants (EDA) and enterprise handheld computers to market and widespread support for MicrosoftÒ Windows Embedded platforms. Over the past five years, Symbol has demonstrated a successful record of launching ruggedized mobile computers built on the Windows Embedded platform to deliver enterprise mobility solutions that increase workforce productivity and drive operational efficiency.
