Radisys Names Industry Veteran and Former HP Exec as Vice President of Commercial Business and Products

RadiSys Corporation (NASDAQ:RSYS), a leading global provider of advanced embedded systems, today announced Wade Clowes has been appointed vice president responsible for the company's Commercial business and products. Clowes has nearly 30 years of industry expertise, including 22 years with HP and previous experience with RadiSys as vice president and general manager of the company's Application Equipment Division. Most recently, he was the Principal of Clowes and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in business and organization development.

He has broad industry experience and a keen understanding of our technology and the benefits our advanced embedded systems offer customers," said Scott Grout, RadiSys president and CEO. "As vice president, he will build on our success of delivering industry leading commercial products and solutions that allow our customers to develop better products faster and more economically."

Clowes had previously held executive business management positions with small and large companies including a 22-year career with HP where he held a variety of general and operations management positions.

Clowes received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Montana State University. He also completed the Stanford Executive Program in 1992.
